🎓 OPENING CEREMONY OF THE DISTANCE LEARNING PROGRAM – COURSE 3, PHASE 1, 2026

On May 10, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking (HUB) organized... Opening Ceremony of the Distance Learning Program for University Level, Course III, Batch 1, 2026 online via the Zoom platform.

The ceremony marked the beginning of the academic journey for new students in five different training programs, including: English Language, Economic Law, Finance and Banking, Business Administration and AccountingFrom many provinces and cities across the country, new students have gathered in a modern and flexible learning environment, opening a new chapter in their journey to enhance knowledge, develop professional skills, and improve themselves.

The highlight of Distance Learning Course III, Batch 1, 2026 is the expansion of training scale with Three new majors: Finance and Banking, Business Administration, and Accounting.The addition of these academic programs not only diversifies learning options for students but also demonstrates HUB's efforts to meet the growing educational needs of society, especially in fields related to professional practice and labor market trends. This is also an important step, further affirming the orientation of building a flexible and modern learning environment and expanding access to higher education for students nationwide.

The ceremony was attended by: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung The Rector of the University of Banking Ho Chi Minh City, leaders of units under HUB, representatives of the Center for Distance Learning and Technology Transfer Consulting, technology partner VNPT, admissions partners, along with the faculty and all new students of Course III, Batch 1, 2026.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung He extended his congratulations and welcomed the new students officially joining the HUB learning community. He emphasized that the learning journey always requires effort, perseverance, and a spirit of overcoming challenges. In the context of rapidly developing artificial intelligence and its profound transformation of how people learn, work, and create new value, learners need to proactively adapt, constantly innovate their thinking, and cultivate a creative spirit. This is a crucial foundation for each individual's holistic development, enhancing their competitiveness and readiness for the new demands of modern society.

Representative of the partner organization for admissions, Dr. Dinh Van Toi The professor extended his congratulations to the new students officially embarking on their new academic journey in the Distance Learning Program, Cohort III, Batch 1, 2026. He expressed his hope that the new students would demonstrate initiative, perseverance, and responsibility in their studies; and effectively utilize the flexible learning environment to continuously improve their professional knowledge, skills, and personal value. He believes that with determination and persistent effort, the new students will achieve excellent results throughout the course and in their future career development.

Dr. Dinh Van Toi – Director of the Center for Cooperation and Training Development, Nghe An University, shared this at the opening ceremony.

The program also included practical feedback from Students of Course I of the Distance Learning program. Student representatives shared their experiences during the learning process, their ability to proactively manage their time between work and study, and emphasized the value of the online learning environment in enhancing professional knowledge, broadening thinking, and creating more career development opportunities.

Mr. Huynh Van Binh – Secretary to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Gas Corporation, a student of the first cohort of the Distance Learning Program, shared his practical experience about his learning journey in the program.

 

Represent New students of Course III, Batch 1, 2026 They also shared their thoughts at the ceremony. In a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere, the new students expressed their joy at officially becoming members of the HUB learning community, and also demonstrated their determination to study seriously, proactively, and strive to successfully complete the training program in the coming time.

Mr. Le Minh Huy – Head of Personal Banking Department, An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank – representing the new students of the 2026 cohort (Course III), shared his thoughts at the program.

 

Continuing the program, Dr. Nguyen Thi Cam Phu, representing the Center for Distance Learning and Technology Transfer Consulting, disseminated academic regulations and guidelines, and provided important information during the learning process, helping new students understand their rights, responsibilities, and effective online learning methods.

She emphasized that, to study effectively in a distance learning environment, learners need to cultivate a proactive spirit, discipline, sound time management skills, and maintain regular interaction with instructors, academic advisors, and the class as a whole. These are crucial factors that help students adapt quickly to online learning and achieve sustainable academic results.

In addition, the Center always supports students with professional classroom support teamWe are ready to provide timely advice, answers, and support throughout the learning process, thereby creating favorable conditions for learners to confidently pursue and complete the training program.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, students enter the academic orientation program, which includes:

Instructions for using the online learning system from a representative of VNPT - a companion in developing the training platform;

Students are introduced to the modern online training system from HUB

Next, students are instructed on how to use it. digital library systemThis will help students become familiar with how to search for learning materials, access electronic learning resources, and effectively utilize resources to support their learning and research throughout the course.

Following the program, orientation sessions were conducted to help new students gradually familiarize themselves with the distance learning environment. Through presentations from lecturers and experts, students were guided on suitable learning methods, built effective learning plans, and clearly defined their goals throughout the course.

English Language major: lecturer Faculty of Foreign Languages They shared learning methods, guidance on language skill development, and suitable learning pathways in a distance learning environment.

Lecturer in English Language – Mr. Phan Le Vinh Thong, M.Sc., shared with new students about study orientation and development opportunities in the English Language program.
