On May 9, 2026, the University of Banking Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with Vietcombank Bien Hoa Branch, successfully organized a specialized training program. “Skills to identify real/fake money” This is for 32 officers and specialists currently working at the unit.

Overview of the training program

The program is designed with a practical focus, equipping students with the knowledge to identify security features on Vietnamese currency, methods for distinguishing genuine from counterfeit money, and updating them on common operational situations encountered during transactions and cash control at banks.

With a visual training method, combining theory and hands-on practice with real and counterfeit banknotes, the session created a lively exchange atmosphere, helping trainees not only master the knowledge but also improve their observation, analysis, and problem-solving skills right in their workplace.

Students exchanged enthusiastically and actively practiced.

Through this program, trainees have the opportunity to strengthen their professional skills, improve accuracy and safety in counting, transacting, and controlling cash. This is also one of the practical contents that contributes to enhancing risk management capabilities, meeting the increasingly high demands of banking operations today.
