In the context of globalization and deep economic integration, English is not only a communication tool but also a "key" to unlocking career opportunities in an international environment. The English Language training program – specializing in Business English – is designed with this orientation in mind. liberal – interdisciplinary – experientialThis helps learners develop comprehensively both their language skills and modern business thinking.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM

The program aims to train comprehensively competent Bachelor of English Language graduates, meeting the demand for high-quality human resources in the international economic and trade environment.

  • Minimum proficiency in English Level 5/6 according to the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework
  • Mastering fundamental knowledge in society, law, and economics.
  • Possesses in-depth proficiency in business English and international communication.
  • Develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of researching, planning, and adapting to a changing professional environment.
  • Fostering professional ethics, social responsibility, and a spirit of lifelong learning.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates in English Language can work in a wide variety of fields, especially in environments with an international element:

  • Translators and interpreters in the fields of commerce, finance, and tourism.
  • External Relations and International Communications Specialist at a company
  • Assistant director, executive secretary who speaks English
  • Human resources, marketing, and business development in FDI enterprises.
  • Teaching English (after completing pedagogical training)
  • Working at an international organization, NGO, or multinational corporation.

This is an "open" field of study, allowing students to flexibly switch between many different career positions.

PROGRAM CONTENT

The training program is designed with a combination of theory and practice, focusing on the following areas of knowledge:

1. Basic knowledge

Building a foundation in academic knowledge and linguistic thinking:

  • Introduction to English Language Studies
  • Introduction to Linguistics
  • General Law
  • Political and social theory subjects
  • Presentation skills

At the same time, students develop all four skills comprehensively:
Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing From basic to advanced levels, following an internationally standardized curriculum.

2. Specialized knowledge

Focus on the application of English in business and linguistics:

  • Phonetics – Phonology, Syntax, Semantics
  • Business English
  • Commercial translation and interpretation
  • Intercultural communication in business
  • Scientific research in linguistics

Students gain access to in-depth knowledge closely linked to business practices and an international environment.

3. Additional knowledge

Equipping yourself with professional skills and expanding your opportunities:

  • Second foreign language (Chinese)
