Course 3 of the program "Implementing the construction of an internal control system according to Circular 62/2025/TT-NHNN" is currently being implemented in Can Tho.

Course 3 of the training program "Implementing the Internal Control System according to Circular 62/2025/TT-NHNN" in Can Tho. The program was attended by leaders, managers, and professionals from various organizations. People's credit funds, cooperative banks, and microfinance institutions.

The course is organized in the context of Circular 62/2025/TT-NHNN will officially take effect from January 1, 2027.This places new demands on the construction, operation, and improvement of internal control systems at credit institutions. Proactively updating regulations, assessing the current situation, and preparing a suitable implementation roadmap are among the areas of particular interest to these institutions.

1) Connecting regulatory bodies, experts, and industry stakeholders.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Ha – Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Branch 14 – Sharing practical perspectives on the role of internal control systems in governance, risk prevention and control, contributing to ensuring the safe, efficient and sustainable operation of credit institutions.

At the program, Dr. Nguyen Van Nhat – Director of the Center for Distance Learning and Technology Transfer Consulting, University of Banking Ho Chi Minh City At the opening ceremony, participants also shared insights emphasizing the role of training, updating knowledge, and preparing human resources to meet the new demands of the banking industry. Through this program, HUB continues to support credit institutions in improving their management capabilities and implementing new regulations into their operations.

The program was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Nhu (Head of Inspection and Supervision Department 2) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao (Head of Accounting and Payment Department)Along with leaders and officials from various units, the participants attended the course. The participation of representatives from management agencies contributed to creating more space for professional exchange, helping trainees gain more practical perspectives on the requirements set forth in the implementation of Circular 62/2025/TT-NHNN.

2) Training content is linked to practical implementation requirements.

Accompanying the program are: Tran Thi Hai Van (MSc, FCCA, CIA) – experts in the field of auditing and internal control. The program is implemented in a way that combines: legal regulations, professional knowledge, and real-world scenariosThis helps trainees not only understand the requirements of Circular 62/2025/TT-NHNN but also gradually approach the methods of building and operating an internal control system suitable to the specific characteristics of each unit.

The discussions focused on key issues such as: The Three Lines of Defense model, risk governance framework, risk appetite, identification and assessment of key risks, internal control system design, monitoring mechanism, reporting, and implementation roadmap development.In addition to professional content, trainees also have the opportunity to directly interact with instructors, discuss real-world scenarios, and share implementation experiences at their respective organizations. The combination of knowledge and practical experience makes the training content more relevant to the daily work of officers directly involved in governance, internal control, internal auditing, and risk management.
