On June 18, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking (HUB) co-organized the opening ceremony of the training course "Implementing the Internal Control System according to Circular 62/2025/TT-NHNN". The program attracted the participation of numerous leaders, managers, and officers in charge of internal control, internal audit, and risk management from People's Credit Funds, Cooperative Banks, and microfinance institutions in many provinces and cities nationwide.

Delegates, leaders, and managers from various organizations across the country attended the course.
The course is being implemented in the context of Circular 62/2025/TT-NHNN officially coming into effect on January 1, 2027, which sets new requirements for building and operating internal control systems at credit cooperatives and microfinance institutions. This is considered one of the important contents aimed at improving governance capacity, strengthening risk control, and ensuring safe and sustainable operations for units within the system.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Nhat, Director of the Distance Learning Center, Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking, emphasized the role of the internal control system in improving governance quality, and affirmed that HUB always accompanies credit institutions in training and developing human resources and updating new legal regulations of the banking industry.

The program provides comprehensive access to content ranging from legal foundations to practical implementation tools. Topics focus on assessing the gap between the organization's governance practices and the requirements of Circular 62; building a risk management framework; establishing a risk appetite; identifying, evaluating, and controlling key risks; designing an internal control system according to international standards; and developing monitoring, reporting, and implementation mechanisms tailored to the specific characteristics of each organization.
The course is taught directly by Lecturer Tran Thi Hai Van (FCCA, CIA), an international expert in the field of auditing and internal control. With extensive experience in consulting and training for domestic and international financial institutions, the lecturer not only provides professional knowledge but also shares many practical case studies, lessons learned, and solutions that can be applied immediately within the organization.
