On August 15, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Banking University (HUB) was honored to welcome a delegation of E.SUN Bank (E.SUN Bank - Taiwan) to visit and work at the school. The meeting opened up the strategic cooperation orientation between the two sides, towards the Workshop. ESG Sustainability Initiative Scheduled to be held in October 2025 in Taiwan, the event will bring together many international universities, research institutes and financial institutions.

Speaking at the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung - President of HUB affirmed that HUB always considers ESG as a guideline in sustainable development orientation. The cooperation with E.SUN Bank, a pioneer bank in ESG in Taiwan, is an important step for the school to connect global standards with training, research and innovation practices in Vietnam.
The meeting took place at the HUB meeting room of the headquarters.
E.SUN Bank representative highly appreciated HUB as one of the leading prestigious universities in Vietnam in the field of finance and banking, which has been cooperating with many prestigious universities in the world, including Kaohsiung University (Taiwan). E.SUN Bank expressed its desire to strengthen close cooperation with HUB in the fields of research, training high-quality human resources and implementing ESG initiatives.

This connection not only creates opportunities for HUB to enhance its international position and expand its cooperation network with global partners, but also contributes to promoting sustainable development values for the Vietnamese finance and banking industry in the integration process.
With the orientation of "Integration - Innovation - Sustainable Development", HUB will accompany E.SUN Bank and international partners in spreading ESG values, bringing practical contributions to the academic, business and social communities.
