On the afternoon of March 7, 2026, as part of its working visit to Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking (HUB) visited and worked with the Hanoi Vocational College of Technology to expand its distance learning enrollment network in the Northern region. This activity contributes to increasing opportunities for students to access higher education in a flexible format, while affirming HUB's orientation towards developing a nationwide distance learning ecosystem.

During the working session, Dr. Nguyen Van Nhat – Director of the Center for Distance Learning and Technology Transfer Consulting, representing HUB, directly discussed with the school's leadership about cooperation directions, surveyed student needs, and solutions for developing recruitment sources in the Northern region.
Both sides agreed to continue strengthening coordination to expand access to learners with flexible learning needs; improve the effectiveness of communication and admissions counseling; and develop a nationwide network of admissions partnerships. At the same time, the two units also discussed the possibility of cooperating in implementing short-term training programs tailored to the needs of organizations and businesses, especially in the fields of digital skills, finance and banking, and practical skills enhancement programs.
Expanding its presence in the North not only contributes to increasing enrollment but also demonstrates HUB's strategic direction in bringing higher education closer to learners nationwide.

Hanoi Vocational College of Technology is one of HUB's important enrollment partners in implementing distance learning programs. With its advantageous training network in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the college plays an effective bridging role in reaching learners in many areas.
Previously, in 2025, the two units signed a cooperation agreement in the field of student recruitment, creating a foundation for the implementation of distance learning programs, thereby spreading learning opportunities to a large number of learners nationwide.

Through this development roadmap, HUB distance learning not only expands in terms of the scale of its training programs but also gradually improves their quality, while simultaneously implementing short-term training programs to meet the needs of learners and businesses for updating their knowledge and skills.
