Vietnam Women's Union officials in the Central provinces actively update Financial knowledge and smart financial management

On March 21 and 22, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Banking University (HUB) continued to implement a series of training activities within the coordination program between the State Bank and the Vietnam Women's Union for the period 2023 - 2027 with the theme “Financial knowledge and smart financial management”The program aims to successfully implement policies on comprehensive finance, credit for agricultural and rural development, credit from the Bank for Social Policies, and other credit sources to facilitate women's access to appropriate credit sources, contributing to enhancing women's economic empowerment and achieving gender equality. At the same time, it strengthens the capacity of the Vietnam Women's Union at all levels in implementing microfinance activities.

With the noble mission of training and providing high-quality human resources for society, HUB is extremely honored to be trusted and selected by the State Bank and the Vietnam Women's Union as the unit to organize training on "Financial knowledge and smart financial management" for key Women's Union officials of provinces and cities in the Central region taking place in Khanh Hoa province.

Overview of the course

With a team of lecturers with many years of experience and modern teaching methods, HUB has selected lecturers from the Faculty of Finance to directly participate in the training. After two days of study and exchange, Dr. Dang Thi Quynh Anh - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Finance of HUB shared and provided more than 30 key officials of the Women's Union who are Group Leaders and members of the Management Board of the Savings and Loan Groups of the Social Policy Bank in the Central provinces with financial knowledge; answered questions and difficulties in smart financial management and the importance of financial management today.

Expected to take place in April 2024, the Financial Knowledge and Smart Financial Management training program is for key Women's Union officials in provinces and cities in the Southern region. Promoting its inherent strengths, HUB will continue to provide the highest quality and most effective training, contributing to further enhancing the value of the cooperation between the two sides in training, while supporting the implementation of the National Comprehensive Financial Strategy to 2025 and the Prime Minister's orientation to 2030 in general.
