Overview of the training program
The program is implemented in accordance with Decision 2112/QD-NHNN of the State Bank of Vietnam approving the training program on identifying genuine and counterfeit money, aiming to improve professional capacity, strengthen the prevention and control of counterfeit money, and protect Vietnamese currency in banking operations.
The training content focuses on key topics such as: recognizing the security features of Vietnamese currency; skills in distinguishing genuine from counterfeit money; regulations on handling counterfeit and suspected counterfeit money in the banking industry; and updating on common counterfeiting methods and practical handling experiences in transactions.
Hands-on practice with real and counterfeit banknotes is included in the training program.
A highlight of the program is its training method, which combines theory and hands-on practice with real and counterfeit banknotes. This allows students to access knowledge in a visual, easy-to-understand, and highly applicable way. Throughout the course, students actively exchanged and discussed real-world operational scenarios with instructors, thereby improving their observation, analysis, and problem-solving skills at their workplaces.
