In two days September 6–7, 2025, at the Provincial Party Committee Hall, Base 2 (Binh Kien Ward, Tuy Hoa City), Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking (HUB) has cooperated with Agribank Phu Yen Branch successfully organized thematic training course: “Knowledge, skills in the digital age and AI application in banking activities”.

The course attracted more than 300 officers and employees of the entire branch. This is a testament to Agribank Phu Yen's determination to improve staff capacity, update technology trends and meet the digital transformation requirements of the banking industry.

Opening remarks, Mr. Phan Thong Thai - Director of Agribank Phu Yen Branch emphasize: “In the context of widespread digital transformation, AI is no longer a distant concept but has become an essential tool, fundamentally changing the way modern banks operate, serve and develop. Therefore, each Agribank officer needs to not only be solid in professional skills, but also proactively equip himself with digital skills and AI application skills in daily work.”

Under the direct guidance of HUB instructors, students are equipped with basic knowledge of AI, familiarize themselves with virtual assistant tools and practice applying them in many important tasks:

• Credit and customer appraisal
• Accounting and internal control
• Legal, administrative - office
• Communications, reporting and data governance

Through the program, Agribank staff had the opportunity practice AI application skills in practical work, improve analytical capacity, information processing and optimize work performance, contributing to building a modern and professional working environment.

Representatives of the two units gave gifts and took souvenir photos.

Training course at Agribank Phu Yen branch is also included in AI program series that HUB has successfully deployed for many units across the country, such as:

• Class "AI application skills in office management" for civil servants of Tien Giang province;
• Class "AI application in banking work" for Agribank Binh Thuan, Bac Hai Phong, Sa Dec, Dong Long An, Bac Long An...
• Specialized AI training programs for businesses and financial institutions.
