Opening of the CEO Training Course

On the morning of November 6, the Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support Center under the Department of Planning and Investment of Tien Giang province in collaboration with the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City organized the opening ceremony of the intensive corporate governance training course “Chief Executive Officer – CEO”, attracting the participation of 25 students, along with experts and lecturers from the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Tien Giang province spoke at the ceremony.

In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Tien Giang province Nguyen Xuan Cuong emphasized the importance of training a team of professional executives in the context of increasingly deep international economic integration.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Cuong shared: “Management and operation is a job that not only requires scientific knowledge, but also innate qualities and creativity. To become a professional CEO, in addition to natural ability, managers also need to be properly trained and constantly updated with new knowledge about business administration.”

The training course lasts from November 6 to December 6, 2024, including 9 topics with invested international standard and modern lecture content suitable for all managers and executives. The program is professional and closely follows the practical situation.

Dr. Nguyen Van Nhat, Director of the Center for Distance Learning and Technology Transfer Consulting - Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City spoke at the ceremony.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thong - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Tien Giang province spoke at the ceremony.

The training program not only includes knowledge of the latest business law regulations, but also provides analysis and forecast of the socio-economic situation to help managers make the right decisions, promoting sustainable development for businesses. At the end of the training course, students will participate in a field trip and a final exam.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Tien Giang province Nguyen Dinh Thong said that the specialized corporate governance training course "Chief Executive Officer - CEO" is within the framework of implementing the policy of supporting small and medium enterprises of the Government and the People's Committee of Tien Giang province, with the goal of training specialized corporate governance CEOs, improving management skills and enhancing strategic decision-making capacity for enterprises.

He hopes that through this course, students will perfect their management skills, apply management philosophy to practical work and thereby develop their businesses strongly in the future.
