International Payment Training Program for Officers and Employees Agribank – Thua Thien Hue Province Branch
With the goal of further improving competitiveness, quality of customer care and service, on March 9 & 10, 2024, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam - Thua Thien Hue Branch (Agribank - Thua Thien Hue) coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Banking University (HUB) to successfully organize an International Payment Training Program for more than 60 students who are officers and employees working at Agribank - Thua Thien Hue.
The training content is built by HUB to support the staff and employees working in international payment of Agribank - Thua Thien Hue to update and understand more deeply the latest knowledge on international payment activities of commercial banks; the latest regulations on international payment procedures; international trade conditions and foreign trade contracts to ensure the validity of contracts can be checked, limit the risk of contract breach and violation of some regulations related to anti-money laundering; Understand the content of financial documents and commercial documents in international payments.
After two days of study, with the sharing of Dr. Tran Vuong Thinh and Dr. Nguyen Minh Nhat from the Banking Faculty (HUB), the knowledge was conveyed concisely and succinctly to meet the training objectives of the bank. At the same time, during the teaching process, the lecturer integrated theory into handling real-life situations, thereby helping students grasp and understand more deeply the knowledge equipped from the course, thereby applying it optimally in the working process.
The success of the course has contributed to further strengthening the comprehensive cooperation relationship between HUB and Agribank - Thua Thien Hue in training and sustainable development of high-quality human resources for enterprises, meeting social needs to successfully implement the common goal of contributing to building a strong Finance - Banking industry in the current context.
