Following the success of the first class on May 17 & 18, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Banking University (HUB) and Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development - Binh Thuan Branch (Agribank Binh Thuan) completed the second class on June 7 & 8, 2025 in the specialized training series. “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Application Skills in Banking Work”The class gathered more than 80 officers and specialists of Agribank Binh Thuan, demonstrating the bank's strong spirit of readiness for digital transformation.

Classroom overview

The course is taught by MSc. Le Minh Hoang Long, Lecturer of Digital Marketing Department at HUB. With experience in implementing AI at many financial enterprises, HUB has designed the course content to suit the core operations of the bank, including:

• Automate data processing with ChatGPT and Excel AI, shorten reporting time and credit analysis.
• Support decision making with AI models to predict customer trends and assess risks.
• Optimize operational processes through AI platforms that integrate rule-based and machine learning.

Lecturers guide students on how to approach and apply AI

During the course, students directly practiced AI tools and solved real-life situations related to transactions, credit and risk management. Through this, each officer built their own personal “Personal Assistant”, contributing to increasing work processing speed, minimizing errors and improving service quality.

The course not only updates technology trends, but also stimulates innovative thinking, a core factor that helps banks adapt to the increasingly competitive digital market. A total of nearly 200 staff participated in the first two training courses, showing the urgent need for AI skills applied in the current finance and banking industry.
