A business that wants to survive and operate effectively must rely on sales activities, whether selling products, selling services or selling technology, the sales team and sales skills are the key factors that bring an expected revenue figure for the business's operations. And the banking sector is no exception.
Recognizing the importance of sales skills in banking operations, on August 18 & 19, 2023, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, Binh Thuan Branch (Vietcombank - Binh Thuan) coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Banking University (HUB) to successfully organize the Training Course “Counter selling skills” for 45 students who are officers and employees working at Vietcombank - Binh Thuan.

The training course focuses on the main contents: (1) Customer service thinking in the new era; (2) Understanding, changing & developing yourself; (3) Improving customer service capacity and style; (4) Understanding and empathizing with customers to mend and develop relationships with customers; (5) Skills to mend relationships through handling complaints.
With a team of highly qualified lecturers and experts who are knowledgeable about sales skills from HUB, they have provided full knowledge, skills, and ways to handle real situations that bank staff often encounter when communicating with customers. The skills that bank staff receive include: Impressive greeting skills, questioning skills, and listening skills to discover customers' needs in order to provide focused and effective sales advice, quick sales closing skills, and the art of handling rejection. This will help bank staff to effectively and proactively apply situations in the process of working and transacting with customers, thereby promoting sales activities to meet targets and achieve set goals.

During the training period, students are not only updated with useful knowledge and skills for work but also directly practice with simulated situations that closely match the specific business activities and development strategies of Vietcombank, creating an exciting and enthusiastic learning atmosphere.
