On July 17th and 18th, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking (HUB) successfully organized... Course 2 of the training program "Implementing the Internal Control System according to Circular 62\/2025\/TT-NHNN"<\/strong>This concludes two days of learning, professional exchange, and sharing of practical experiences among experts and trainees from many provinces and cities across the country.<\/p>\n

Following the success of Course 1, the program continued to receive significant interest and participation from numerous leaders, managers, internal control officers, internal auditors, risk management officers, and professional staff from the People's Credit Fund system, Cooperative Banks, and microfinance institutions. The participation of trainees from various units created a multi-faceted professional exchange forum, where practical experiences were shared, difficulties encountered during implementation were discussed, and many solutions were proposed from the perspective of experts as well as those directly involved in management at the grassroots level.<\/p>\n

Overview of the training class<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Organized in the context Circular 62\/2025\/TT-NHNN<\/strong> It will officially take effect from the date 01\/01\/2027<\/strong>The program aims to support credit institutions in proactively preparing resources, improving internal control systems, and enhancing governance capacity in accordance with new requirements from regulatory authorities. Throughout the two-day training, participants gained access to a comprehensive knowledge system, ranging from assessing the gap between the institution's governance practices and the requirements of Circular 62, building a Three-Line-of-Defense model, establishing a risk management framework and risk appetite, to identifying and evaluating key risks, designing an internal control system, building monitoring and reporting mechanisms, and developing an implementation roadmap suitable to each institution's operating conditions.<\/p>\n

Accompanying the program are: Tran Thi Hai Van (MSc, FCCA, CIA)<\/strong> \u2013 An international expert in the field of auditing and internal control. With many years of experience consulting and training for domestic and foreign financial institutions, the lecturer has delivered in-depth content closely related to the practical operations of People's Credit Funds and microfinance institutions. Besides conveying professional knowledge, the modules also incorporate many typical case studies, lessons learned, and implementation solutions that can be directly applied at the unit, helping students easily connect theory and practice.<\/p>\n

Lecturer Tran Thi Hai Van (FCCA, CIA) presented a topic on internal control according to Circular 62\/2025\/TT-NHNN.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

One of the highlights of Course 2 was its learner-centered training method, harmoniously combining theory and practice. Group discussions, case studies, direct exchanges with instructors, and experience sharing among trainees were lively throughout the program. Many issues arising from the practical operations of People's Credit Funds, Cooperative Banks, and microfinance institutions were analyzed from various perspectives, contributing to providing trainees with a foundation for improving internal control systems and enhancing management efficiency within their respective units.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thi Cam Phu<\/strong>Ms. [Name], Deputy Director of the Distance Learning Center, Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking, acknowledged and commended the serious and responsible learning spirit of the trainees throughout the course. She emphasized that building an internal control system is not only about meeting compliance requirements with the State Bank of Vietnam's regulations but also serves as a crucial foundation for credit institutions to improve their governance capacity, enhance risk prevention capabilities, and move towards safe and sustainable development. She also expressed her hope that the knowledge, experience, and tools shared in the program will be effectively applied by the trainees in their practical work, contributing to the successful implementation of the requirements of Circular 62\/2025\/TT-NHNN in the future.<\/p>\n
