On July 17, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking (HUB) held its opening ceremony. Course 2 of the training program "Implementing the Internal Control System according to Circular 62\/2025\/TT-NHNN"<\/strong>Building on the success of the first course, the school continues to affirm its role in training and developing human resources for the credit institution system.<\/p>\n

The program attracted a large number of leaders, managers, and internal control, internal audit, and risk management officers from People's Credit Funds, Cooperative Banks, and microfinance institutions in many provinces and cities nationwide. The interest shown by these units in Course 2 demonstrates the growing need to update new regulations, while simultaneously improving management capacity and perfecting the internal control system in response to the banking industry's reform requirements.<\/p>\n

Overview of the training course "Implementing the Internal Control System according to Circular 62"<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The course is organized in the context of Circular 62\/2025\/TT-NHNN<\/strong> It will officially take effect from the date 01\/01\/2027<\/strong>This places new demands on the construction, operation, and evaluation of internal control systems at credit cooperatives and microfinance institutions. This is a crucial step towards strengthening governance capacity, improving risk control effectiveness, and moving towards the safe, transparent, and sustainable development of credit institutions.<\/p>\n

In his opening remarks for the program, Dr. Nguyen Van Nhat<\/strong> \u2013 The Director of the Distance Learning Center, Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking \u2013 emphasized that proactively preparing human resources and equipping them with specialized knowledge from the current stage will help units effectively implement the requirements of Circular 62 when the official document comes into effect. He also affirmed that HUB will continue to accompany credit institutions in training, updating knowledge, and improving management capacity, contributing to building an increasingly complete and effective internal control system.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the program, participants gain access to a comprehensive knowledge system, combining legal foundations with practical implementation content. The modules focus on analyzing the gap between the unit's operational status and the requirements of Circular 62\/2025\/TT-NHNN; building a Three-Line-of-Defense model; establishing a risk management framework and risk appetite; identifying and assessing key risks; designing an internal control system according to international standards; and developing monitoring, reporting, and implementation mechanisms tailored to the specific characteristics of each organization.<\/p>\n

The program is supported by instructors. Tran Thi Hai Van (MSc, FCCA, CIA)<\/strong>\u00a0The instructors are international experts in the field of auditing and internal control. With many years of experience consulting and training for domestic and international financial institutions, the instructors provide in-depth content closely related to the practical operations of people's credit funds and microfinance institutions. Besides imparting professional knowledge, the instructors also share many typical case studies, practical lessons, and implementation solutions that can be directly applied at the institution.<\/p>\n
